Argentinean Cultural Programme (for English speakers) Mainly Aged Over 50
Arrive: April 2009
Depart: May 2009
Exact arrival and departure dates to be confirmed.
This is a three-week group programme to introduce people to international volunteering.
It should be enough time to learn whether volunteering is something that you might like to pursue for a longer period in the future. Other people, in the small group, may come from other EIL Federation countries. English will be the main operating language for this group.
This is not a tourist programme, although you will of course have opportunities to see sites of interest during your stay. Anyone applying for this programme should expect to spend time helping out with projects and meeting local people, as well as learning about Argentinean culture.
- Three weeks: Accommodation included, with breakfast and some meals (participants will choose and pay for their own meals and venues where "dinner or lunch on your own" is indicated).
- Location: Argentina (3 days in Buenos Aires, 18 days in Salta)
- Participants: Mainly aged 50 and over
- Size of Group: Minimum 8
- Language: English (Spanish skills would be useful but not required)
